The Democrats are thisclose to making a Federal law that makes it illegal to discriminate in job hiring and firing on the basis of real or perceived sexual orientation, joining protections on Race, Sex, Religion, Disability and Age. Bush may veto, we will see. Good for the Democrats for trying.
